ORDER

As per the ref.1^st read above, Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University has been established for the development of Veterinary and Animal Sciences in the State, initially by transferring the Veterinary institutions functioning under the control of Kerala Agricultural University, as specified below:-

1.   College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy.

2.   College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookode.

3.   Clinical Veterinary Complex, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookdoe

4.   College of Dairy Science and Technology, Mannuthy.

5.   Instructional Farms attached to College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookode.

6.   Livestock Research Station, Thiruvazhamkunnu, Palakkad.

7.   Base Farm, Kolahalamedu, Idukki.

8.   University Poultry and Duck Farm, Mannuthy.

9.   Pig Breeding Farm, Mannuthy.

10. Goat and Sheep Farm, Mannuthy.

11. Regional Cattle Infertility Research Centre, Kozhikode.

12. University Livestock Farm and Fodder Research and Development Scheme, Mannuthy.

13. All India Co-ordinated Research Project on Poultry, Mannuthy.

14. Centre for Advanced Studies in Poultry Science, Mannuthy.

15. Centre for Advanced Studies in Animal Breeding and Genetics, Mannuthy.

16. Meat Plant, Mannuthy.

17. Dairy Plant, Mannuthy.

18. Veterinary Hospital, Kokkalai, Thrissur.

19. Veterinary Hospital, Mannuthy.

20. Cattle Breeding Farm, Thumburmuzhy.

As per the ref.3^rd read above, option exercised by the various categories of staff under Kerala Agricultural University, willing to be transferred to Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University were accepted by the Registrar, Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University.  But the transfer of opted employees could not be effected due to the existence of Code of Conduct Election rules.  Now, as agreed to by the Election Commission and as agreed upon in the meeting chaired by the Agricultural Production Commissioner on 03.05.2011 in his chamber, the following orders are issued.

1. The teaching and Non teaching staff and Labourers in the list appended herewith whose option to Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University were accepted are transferred to Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University.  They are deemed to have been relieved of their duties in Kerala Agricultural University with effect from 30.4.2011 AN and directed to report before the Registrar, Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University at the Camp Office, Mannuthy with necessary ID Proof, on or before 09.5.2011.  They are not eligible for joining time and TA.

2.   The Heads of Stations concerned will facilitate the incumbents to report before the Registrar, Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University within the time limit stipulated, after completing the formalities. 

3.   Those employees who have not opted Kerala Veterinary & Animal Sciences University and working in the Veterinary institutions and Engineering Wing at Pookot are also deemed to have been relieved from their respective stations w.e.f. 30.4.2011 AN.  They will report before the Registrar, Kerala Agricultural University on or before 09.05.2011.

4.   The employees who are appointed for election duty by the Election Commission (counting duty), are bound to attend the election duty.

            Orders with regard to other issues will be issued separately.
