A Farm Machinery Facilitation Centre is to be started at Agricultural
Research Station, Mannuthy. A directory of owners of farm machinery suited to
Kerala is proposed to be built up. Agencies / owners of farm machinery like
paddy transplanters, paddy harvesters, combine harvesters, paddy threshers,
winnowers, triple piston pumps etc., which can be spared for use in Kerala
through this Station, can register their names with the Station. The format for
registration will be available here (MS Word
23KB). Customers will be able to use
these machines on hire basis through information from this Centre, at approved
rates. The Station will act as a facilitation centre for renting out of these
machineries on a no profit-no loss basis. For further details, contact Professor
